About Ash Kayser | Naturopath

Ash is passionate about assisting people to regain control of their health by identifying the root cause of their presenting complaint. Through struggling with menstrual problems of her own, Ash found how incredibly powerful and healing Naturopathy can be. It was this experience with Naturopathy that sparked her passion for natural health and has since fueled her love for helping people feel empowered within their bodies.

Ash holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy), completed through Torrens University Australia.

Ash is here to support, guide and nurture you along your path to nourishment, combining compassionate care and evidence-based interventions, so you can heal your hormones, skin, gut and more for good.

Ash’s clinical interests lie in hormonal/menstrual health, helping support you from your first period to your last. Ash also specialises in vaginal health (UTIs, thrush, bacterial vaginosis), skin, gut & mental health.

About Maddi Williams | Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Maddi is an accredited Exercise Physiologist who graduated from Masters of clinical Exercise Physiology at ACU in 2022. She has been part of the BodyFixEP team since her undergrad placement in 2019 and worked as an Exercise Scientist and NDIS therapy assistant through her Masters studies. Maddi has gained experience in many injuries through previously working as a sports trainer for a local football club. She has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries, oncology and neurological rehabilitation and she also runs our hydrotherapy programs.

In Maddi’s spare time you will find her at the beach or catching up with friends and family.

About Samantha Barton | Remedial Massage - Prosthetist & Orthotist

Sam Barton is a dedicated healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in Remedial Massage therapy, complemented by her expertise in aged care and disability care. She holds an Honours degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics from La Trobe University and is deeply committed to enhancing the well-being and mobility of her clients.

Throughout her career, Sam has worked in various healthcare settings across Victoria and Queensland, including hospitals, disability and aged care facilities, and private practice. Her holistic approach to care ensures that each client receives tailored treatment, addressing their unique needs in pain management, rehabilitation, and overall well-being.

As a highly skilled remedial massage therapist, Sam integrates a range of techniques to support her clients, including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, Shiatsu, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, and prenatal massage. She is also experienced in equine remedial massage, providing therapeutic care to support the health and performance of horses.

Sam’s passion lies in delivering effective, client-centered care that leads to meaningful and lasting improvements. Whether assisting with prosthetic and orthotic solutions, providing hands-on massage therapy, or supporting individuals in aged and disability care, her ultimate goal is to help clients regain comfort, confidence, and the ability to move forward with ease.

About Dr. Sam Dyer | Osteopath

Sam completed his studies at RMIT University, following completion, Sam moved to Queensland where he worked rurally treating a wide range of patients for the first 18 months of his career. Following his time in QLD, Sam returned to Melbourne and has been working in private practice for the last 4 years. Sam is available at both of our Bayswater North and Lilydale clinics.

Sam developed his passion for Osteopathy by pursuing the holistic principles of health care that Osteopathy is founded on. Sam’s treatment is strongly guided by the idea that the body is a unit, combining hands-on treatment, dry needling, exercise and education to reach the best possible outcomes for his patients. Sam also has a passion for treating and managing patients suffering from scoliosis related pain since completing the “Schroth Best Practice” course in April of 2023.

Outside of the clinic, Sam thoroughly enjoys exploring his interest in human movement and biomechanics in both his own training and by continuing to educate himself in this area with books and podcasts. He also thoroughly enjoys being outdoors, especially anywhere you can do a bit of fishing.

About Dr Annelise Tchea | Osteopath

Annelise is an experienced osteopath with a double degree in Health science and Applied science (Osteopathy). She is also qualified in dry needling.

During university, Annelise volunteered at an Orthopaedic hospital in India, where she observed surgeries and provided osteopathic treatment. Annelise has managed many sports injuries while working as a sports trainer for football and netball clubs.

Annelise treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal complaints. She has a special interest in headaches, vertigo, neck, back, shoulder and arm pain. In addition to hands on treatment, Annelise educates patients about their condition and recommends exercises, as well as ergonomic and lifestyle changes for lasting results.

Away from the clinic, Annelise can be found up in the air practising aerial silks and lyra.

About Dr Caroline Delaney | Osteopath

Caroline is a senior experienced Osteopath at BDHH Bayswater North. Caroline enjoys working with people of all ages, from babies to elderly, and uses a diverse range of treatment techniques. She has a special interest in neck and back pain, paediatrics, sports injuries and the elderly. She places a great importance in giving each person a complete understanding and knowledge of their musculoskeletal complaints and works to help assist the individual to return to what it is they love doing. This includes using hands on manual therapy and providing advice on factors such as stretching, ergonomics, rehabilitation and stress management.

Caroline is registered with Australian Health Practitioner regulation agency (AHPRA) and is a member of Osteopathy Australia.
Caroline studied a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne which she completed in 1999. She then followed her dreams and continued her studies in Osteopathy at Victorian University in Melbourne, graduating in 2004.

During her time at University, Caroline was a sports trainer for an amateur football club for 2 years, where she was responsible for first aid, assessment and rehabilitation of injuries. After graduating Caroline worked in an Osteopathic clinic in Melbourne’s bayside region for 3 years, where she was involved in a local soccer club as an Osteopath for the Women’s team. She is also a mum and appreciates the balance of holding many responsibilities.

About Dr Luke Kukuruzovic | Osteopath

B.Sci (Clinical Science) M.H.S (Osteopathy)

Luke graduated Victoria University as an Osteopath in 2015, having completed a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy).

During his time at University, Luke volunteered at Sports Med Mumbai, an Orthopaedic hospital in India, working alongside surgeons, physiotherapists, and radiologists, gaining valuable experience into pre and post surgery protocols.

Luke enjoys treating anyone who may walk through his door and understands that each client is different. He treats the client as a whole, acknowledging that the client is a person and not a condition. He is always willing to go the extra mile in search of any way to assist people to meet their goals.

Luke has a special interest in running injury management (being an avid runner himself), as well as shoulder injury rehabilitation. Luke has also studied Strength and Conditioning with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association to gain a further insight into exercise prescription.

Away from work, Luke can often be found training for running events, playing table tennis, attending concerts, or hurtling down a mountain on a snowboard!

About Dr Schae Harrison | Osteopath

B.HSc (Public Health), B.Sc (Osteo), M.HSc (Osteo)

Schae graduated as an Osteopath from Victoria University in 2022, completing a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy). Prior to this she completed a Bachelor of Health Science with a major in Public Health and minors in Nutrition and Biomedicine. Schae also has extra training in the use of Dry needling, cupping techniques and laser techniques.

Schae has extensive experience in massage techniques, then blending that into her Osteopathic practice. Schae’s desire to become an Osteopath arose from her passion for helping others. Regularly visiting Osteopaths in her younger years, she was able to experience the benefits of this profession firsthand.

Schae enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints. She has a special interest in treating neck and headache, sports injuries, and back pain. Schae’s goal is to empower her patients in their own recovery, to help them return to the activities they value most.

In Schae’s spare time, you will find her playing table tennis, playing music or drawing. Schae looks forward to treating whoever walks through the door, from pregnant mums to older patients requiring specific care needs.

About Dr. Tim Howden | Naturopathic Medicine

Tim Howden has been practicing Natural Medicine for almost 20 years. He gained his Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) at the Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne (now Torrens University) and has a certificate of Clinical Nutrition awarded by the National Institute of Integrative Medicine.

Tim worked for several years in pharmacy as a senior naturopath and advisor on the health and safety of natural medicine. Previous to this he held the role of Programs Manager at the world renowned Gawler Foundation.

As an expert in human health, his objective is to improve you, and your family’s wellness in a direct and caring manner.

His enthusiasm for paediatric & family care began 24 years ago when his daughter was born. While undertaking his formal university studies Tim had the opportunity to study Iyengar yoga and develop a keen interest in organic gardening. His practice utilises herbal & nutritional medicine, homoeopathy, and environmental medicine. His clinical methods are thorough and comprehensive & include observation, examination, inquiry, and functional testing.

Tim has expert knowledge in allergy, eczema, poor immunity, digestive illness, anxiety, insomnia, and fatigue conditions.

Unique to his practice is photon resonance analysis via the Asyra bioresonance machine. A method of bio-feedback pioneered in the 1940s by German physician Dr. Rheinhard Voll which gives a unique qualitative picture of a patient’s needs so the clinician can target more effective health outcomes.
