Supporting Independence in Lilydale & Bayswater North
At BDHH, we believe every person deserves care that’s designed around them, not a service model, not a funding category, but them as an individual.
Our NDIS allied health services are delivered by our Accredited Exercise Physiologists and Osteopaths, supporting participants to build independence, improve mobility, and take part more fully in everyday life. We work closely with participants, their families, support coordinators, and plan managers to make sure therapy is meaningful and aligned with each person’s NDIS goals.
Our clinics in Lilydale and Bayswater North serve participants across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, and we welcome referrals from all parts of the NDIS journey.
Therapy That’s Guided by Your Goals
NDIS participants come to us with all kinds of goals, getting stronger, moving more confidently, managing a physical condition, or increasing independence in daily tasks. We start by understanding what matters most to you.
Our Exercise Physiologists design safe, evidence-based exercise interventions tailored to each participant’s health status, abilities, and goals. Our Osteopaths address underlying musculoskeletal issues that may be limiting movement or causing pain. Both disciplines take a holistic approach, looking at physical, mental, and social factors that can affect your health and independence.
A functional assessment gives us a clear picture of current abilities and identifies where therapy can create the most meaningful change. From there, we build a personalised plan focused on practical, long-term progress.
We also keep communication open with support coordinators and plan managers so your services align with how your funding is structured.
Functional Assessments & Capacity Building
Our functional assessments look at the full picture:
- Mobility and physical capacity
- Ability to manage daily tasks independently
- Environmental factors at home or in the community
- Supports that could improve everyday living
The information gathered through assessment can support therapy planning and assist with NDIS plan reviews. Our goal is practical recommendations that translate to real improvements in daily life, not just a report, but a roadmap.
Psychology Support at BDHH
For participants whose NDIS goals include mental health and emotional wellbeing, our Clinical Psychologist is available at BDHH alongside our Exercise Physiology and Osteopathy services. Having psychology as part of the same practice makes it easier to coordinate care and ensure every aspect of a participant’s health is being supported.
BDHH welcomes referrals from participants, families, support coordinators, and plan managers.
