Detoxification is the first step in many of my client’s treatment protocols. This is because toxins are everywhere in our environment and we can’t escape from them! They are ingested, inhaled and absorbed through our skin and they wreak havoc on our body systems, preventing them from functioning properly and causing illness and disease. To start seeing results in our health, it’s important to make sure our liver and detoxification systems are working well. It’s funny how we put a lot of effort into making our homes look nice, cleaning our cars regularly, but we don’t invest the time in cleansing our body. As Jim Rohn once said, “Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.”
